Charity organisations are taking on the responsibility of working at ground level and supporting disadvantaged communities that are affected by the disease, to help them re-establish a degree of self-sustainability.

Location: Greytown, KwaZulu-Natal

The Umvoti Aids Centre is involved in the following:

  • Management of 120 home based care workers (HBC).
  • Training of HBC workers.

  • Management of drop-in centre for vulnerable children.
