Lerato's Hope was founded to support children and families affected by HIV/AIDS. Objectives include:

Support HIV affected children and families by linking urban surplus with peri-urban needs using the urban church and community as a channel
Identify, partner with and support other Non-Governmental, Non-Profit, and Church Based Organisations, who provide counselling, care, support and education for HIV affected children and families at a grassroots community level
Support projects which aim to uplift families affected by HIV, or educate communities, churches or organisations about HIV and AIDS
Provide crisis relief to HIV affected children and families
